Jodie Meeks was a unanimous selection to the SEC All-Freshman team in his first season with the Kentucky Wildcats. In 2009, Meeks broke Kentucky's single-game scoring record. Meeks also broke the record for most 3-pointers in a season at UK, with 117. Meeks was named a unanimous selection to the All-SEC First team during his junior season.
