Rick Barnes is an American college basketball coach who is the current head coach of the Tennessee Volunteers men's basketball team, a post he has held since 2015. He coached Texas from 1998 to 2015, taking the team to the NCAA Tournament in 16 of his 17 seasons with the Longhorns, including 14 straight from 1999-2012, as well as a Final Four appearance in 2003.
